National Academies’s Committee On Law And Justice Seeks Experts
The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine is seeking suggestions for experts interested in its Committee on Law and Justice (CLAJ) in the Division of Behavioral Sciences and Education. The Academies looks to fill four seats on the committee of about 15 volunteer experts and to find experts interested in engaging with the committee by becoming potential speakers, participants and more.
The committee encourages the suggestion of experts from underrepresented groups and early and mid-career professionals in the following areas:
– Criminal Justice
– Criminology
– Economics
– Law and Justice
– Psychology
– Public Policy
– Sociology
The CLAJ aims to improve government decision-making, public policy and law and justice research. The committee identifies new research areas, helps to resolve scientific controversies, extends the research agenda and promotes theory development and research-related policies.
