Webinar: Improving Child and Youth Mental Health: Driving Factors and Root Causes

November 28, 2023 243

In recent years, mental health complications have been on the rise for young people. According to information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 1 in 5 U.S. children between the ages of 3 and 17 currently suffer from a behavioral, developmental, mental, or emotional disorder. The Hauser Policy Impact Fund will address the urgency of these issues in their 2023 webinar series, highlighting the importance of mental health for children and youth.

Margarita Alegría, Tumaini Coker, Kimberly Hoagwood, and Caren Howard will serve as the panelists for this webinar. These four professionals will cover the contributing factors of the ongoing mental health crisis and disparities in the mental health system. Registration for this webinar can be found here.
