Are you passionate about revolutionizing social science education and research? Do you have a groundbreaking idea for a tool or product that could transform the way we teach, learn, and conduct research in the social sciences? If so, Sage invites you to apply for our Concept Grants program!

What Are Sage’s Concept Grants?

Sage’s Concept Grant program is designed to support innovative products and tools aimed at enhancing social science education and research. This year, we’ve expanded our focus to include technology-driven solutions for teaching and learning in response to the evolving landscape of education.

What’s New This Year?

We are offering three awards, each valued at £8,000, or the equivalent in other currencies. These awards are open to applicants from nearly all countries, reflecting our commitment to fostering innovation on a global scale.

Areas of Focus

This year, we’re particularly interested in proposals that address the following areas:

  1. Teaching: Enhancing the role of professors and lecturers in teaching social sciences by providing support and facilitation tools.
  2. Learning: Improving the learning experience of students in social science courses and throughout their degree programs.
  3. Doing Research: Developing advanced research software tailored for academic research in the social sciences.

Deadline for Applications
