November 20, 2013 1000

We are delighted to share with you a video slideshow from the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University‘s 2013 Behavioral Science Summit which took place this past summer.

The second annual Behavioral Science Summit highlighted the latest developments in behavioral science relevant to creativity and innovation, with an opening keynote address by Daniel Kahneman, Nobel Prize winner and author of Thinking, Fast and Slow. Most of the day consisted of interactive, parallel sessions led by 15 thought leaders in fields such as behavioral economics, organizational behavior, creativity, interaction and experience research. The event ended with a panel discussion on how findings in the behavioral sciences can be used to solve important problems. The panel was led by Don Norman, author of The Design of Everyday Things, cofounder of the Nielsen Norman Group and IDEO fellow.
