Sallie Burrough is a stipendiary lecturer in physical geography at the University of Oxford. She is a quaternary scientist interested in how climate, landscape, and ecosystems in Africa have changed over time on scales that range from decades to hundreds of thousands of years. Burrough was formerly Trapnell Fellow of African Environments at the Environmental Change Institute and director of the Oxford Luminescence Dating Laboratory.
