Dr. Aliasger K. Salem is the Bighley Chair and Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Iowa and an elected member of the American Association for Pharmaceutical Scientists Board of Directors. Salem was leader of the Experimental Therapeutics Program at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center from 2012 to 2024 and co-director of the nanotoxicology core at the Environmental Health Sciences Research Center.
