Aurelien Mondon is a senior lecturer, politics, languages and international studies at the University of Bath and a member of the Centre for Qualitative Research there. His first book, The Mainstreaming of the Extreme Right in France and Australia: A Populist Hegemony?, was published in 2013 and he recently co-edited After Charlie Hebdo: Terror, racism and free speech published with Zed. Reactionary democracy: How racism and the populist far right became mainstream, co-written with Aaron Winter, was published with Verso in 2020. The Ethics of Researching the Far Right, co-edited with Antonia Vaughan, Joan Braune and Meghan Tinsley will be out in March 2024 with Manchester University Press.
