Katherine Weisensee (pictured) is a professor of anthropology at Clemson University. There, she serves as the chair of the department of sociology, anthropology and criminal justice. She has research interests in forensic anthropology, population genetics, bioarchaeology, geometric morphometrics, quantitative methods, and paleodemography. Madeline Atwell is a postdoctoral fellow in the department of sociology, anthropology and criminal justice at Clemson University. As a researcher, her expertise lies in biological anthropology, forensic anthropology, and women’s and gender studies.
